Watercolour painting of the sun setting over the Serpentine Bridge in Hyde Park in London. On an evening in late summer.

Sat down at the Serpentine mid-September 2026 to paint the sun setting over at the west. Right behind the Serpentine Bridge. It was getting darker by the minute while chatting to somebody watching me paint. "It's very relaxing, watching you paint." Nice. Those were magical two hours. But I was unable to finish the painting. So I had to revisit it a week later, back at home. Getting my memories on paper. The thoughts and impression from sitting there, at one of my favourite places in the world.
